ABU HELAL
Egypte
Abu Helal is less visited than neighbouring dive sites, mainly because of the strong currents that occur during strong winds. This seems to have a positive effect on nature. The corals around the lagoon are breathtaking and there is more rare and large marine life around.
Particulars
Enter the water from the shore and discover Abu Helal. The dive site is not suited for beginners; bad buoyancy will effect the visibility. Abu Helal can perfectly be combined with the nearby Abu Talha.
Warnings
Beware of strong currents and high waves at the entry point of Abu Helal. The small canyon at 30 meters can be dangerous because of the depth and the narrow swim throughs.
